When our kids were young we had a bunch of puppys. The kids would bring them into the house and play with them until the poor pups were exhausted. These little guys fell asleep in the warm light of the sunny window. It took 15 years before I started the painting and another 5 before it was finally finished. 12 x 24 oil on masonite.
